The project, executed in partnership with GSES, aims to enhance the operational reliability, resilience, redundancy, and continuous operation of the Chilime Hydropower Plant. It involves the Supply, Delivery, Installation, Testing, and Commissioning (SDITC) of:

•  a redundant 110V/300A float-cum-boost Ni-Cd battery charger,
• A 110V/500Ah Ni-Cd battery system to support the 110V DC supply
• An industrial-grade redundant DC-to-DC converter (110V to 24V, 25A).
  The project also includes the provision of mandatory spare parts to ensure ongoing maintenance and optimal performance.
